Microsoft CRM Certified Software Advisor Fee Overview
The Microsoft CRM Certified Software Advisor (CSA) fee initiative is designed to give solution providers an opportunity to earn supplemental revenue when they assist end customers with their software selection and implementation of Microsoft Business Solutions CRM.
Microsoft CRM-certified solution providers who are involved in the presale software assessment and recommendation for a customer and are the primary post sale Microsoft CRM implementation services partner for that customer will be eligible to earn Microsoft CRM Certified Software Advisor fees- up to 30% of their customer�s order of CRM Licenses and Software Assurance.

Eligibility for the Microsoft CRM Certified Software Advisor fee on any Microsoft CRM customer order in volume licensing has four principle requirements:
� The partner organization needs to be Microsoft CRM-certified (pass required exams).
� The partner organization must have been involved in the pre sale software assessment and recommendation process with the customer.
� The partner organization must be the primary post sale CRM implementation services partner for that customer.
� The partner organization is currently a member of the Microsoft Partner Program at the Registered, Certified, or Gold level, or plans to join the program later in 2004 at this level.

Once the customer�s Microsoft CRM order has been placed, partners will need to take the following steps to claim their CRM Certified Software Advisor fees. �
1. As a Microsoft CRM Certified partner, you will go to the following web site after the customer�s order has been placed.
2. As a service to your customer, register the end user customer software so that you can obtain the registration keys required to access and implement the software.
3. Confirm that that your company provided pre-sales needs assessment and software recommendation services to the end user customer and has been retained by the customer as the primary post sale implementation partner for the CRM licenses on which fees are being claimed.
4. If you have been paid for a pre sale assessment by the end user customer, or if this is a government customer, confirm that your company disclosed to the customer that you may be earning CRM CSA fees from Microsoft.
5. Agree that Microsoft is authorized to confirm items 3 and 4 above with the end user customer.
